Terra Verde Emissions Credits Inc. (TVEC) has successfully completed the aggregation, verification, serialization and sale of our 2011 Series VIII Tillage System Management Offset Projects (Agricultural Carbon Credit Project). Terra Verde's Project Implementation System has been commented on by our project verifiers and advisors as extremely professional and exceedingly rigorous. The net price paid to our clients on our 2011 Series VIII Project was an average of $11.27/tonne - which works out to $1.00/acre for lands lying within the Dry Prairie soil region and $1.80/acre for lands lying within the Parkland soil region! Sale proceeds were paid to TVEC's Producers within one week of receipt of all funds from our buyer, which was the week of November 1, 2011. Terra Verde consistently continues to achieve the highest average net per tonne price paid to Producers for zero till carbon credits.
Terra Verde's 2011 Series IX Contract was closed to new Applications as of December 31, 2011. Once this Project has been completed, verified and serialized, further details will be on this page advising interested buyers, including regulated emitters under Alberta's Specified Gas Emitters Regulations ("SGER"), of the total tonnes of greenhouse gas emission offsets for sale. Producers wishing to submit 2002 to 2011 credits for verification under a Series X Project may do so until March 1, 2012. Terra Verde will assess the available supply of credits and make a determination as to whether the supply is sufficient enough to justify a Series X Project. We expect the supply will in fact be sufficient, but Terra Verde will advise Producers as to whether or not we will be proceeding with the aggregation of a Series X Project in early 2012.
Please note that we will only accept Applications that are completed in full. A copy of our 2011 Series X Contract and Application requirements can be obtained in the "Application Forms" area of this website. Applications that are submitted incomplete or are missing required supporting documentation will not be accepted as we will not have time to pursue the collection of the information.
