Terra Verde Emissions Credits Inc. (TVEC) has successfully completed the aggregation, verification, serialization and sale of our 2011 Series VIII Tillage System Management Offset Projects (Agricultural Carbon Credit Project).  Terra Verde's Project Implementation System has been commented on by our project verifiers and advisors as extremely professional and exceedingly rigorous.  The net price paid to our clients on our 2011 Series VIII Project was an average of $11.27/tonne - which works out to  $1.00/acre for lands lying within the Dry Prairie soil region and $1.80/acre for lands lying within the Parkland soil region!  Sale proceeds were paid to TVEC's Producers within one week of receipt of all funds from our buyer, which was the week of November 1, 2011.  Terra Verde consistently continues to achieve the highest average net per tonne price paid to Producers for zero till carbon credits.

Terra Verde's 2011 Series IX Contract was closed to new Applications as of December 31, 2011.  Once this Project has been completed, verified and serialized, further details will be on this page advising interested buyers, including regulated emitters under Alberta's Specified Gas Emitters Regulations ("SGER"), of the total tonnes of greenhouse gas emission offsets for sale. If you are interested in submitting an ‘expression of interest’ on all or part of those Offsets (25,000 tonne allotments), you can contact Katie Milne of Terra Verde Emissions Credits Inc. at 1-866-949-1962, by fax to 1-306-949-1965 or by email at kmilne@terraemissions.com.

Alberta Environment has granted Producers an extension on 2011 carbon credits. Producers who were unable to submit an Application to Terra Verde prior to our December 30, 2011 deadline can still contract with Terra Verde for credits arising from their 2011 crop year. This is the last chance for Producers to contract carbon credits that were generated prior to 2012.  Terra Verde will be accepting Applications until July 1, 2012.  Completed Applications can be submitted to our Regina office by regular post, by fax at 1-306-949-1965 or by email at info@terraemissions.com.
